Screen.

Progress.
Each service offered at Taleni is built around a movement assessment, a written programme, and a structured review cycle. The range below describes what each format involves, how it is structured, and who it is best suited for.
One-to-One Personal Training
The individual session format is the foundational offering of the Taleni practice. Each engagement begins with a movement screen and baseline assessment before any structured loading commences. The programme is then written for the specific individual—not adapted from a template—with loading targets, movement selections, and sequencing determined by the data gathered at intake.
Sessions are logged in real time. Following each appointment, a session recap is shared that includes performance data, quality notes, and any adjustments to the upcoming week's plan. At the close of each four-to-eight week block, a structured review is conducted and the findings inform the next cycle of work.
Group Conditioning Blocks
Group conditioning blocks are designed for three to six participants training toward a shared objective. The format differs from a general fitness class in one significant respect: participant movement capacity is assessed before the block begins, and the programming is calibrated to the group's collective profile rather than built around an assumed average.
Blocks typically run across six weeks, meeting two to three times per week. The structure follows the same periodisation logic as individual programmes: defined loading targets, session sequencing, and a formal review at the end of the cycle. Group formats are most effective for participants who have completed at least one individual assessment session.
Specialist coaching areas
Strength Programmes
Multi-week periodised plans covering hypertrophy, strength, and power phases. Written with specific performance benchmarks at each phase transition and a defined end-of-cycle test protocol.
Body Composition Assessment
A structured intake measurement session establishing anthropometric baselines, movement range data, and initial fitness benchmarks. Revisited at the close of each training block to quantify change.
Movement Screening
A seven-point screening protocol that identifies compensatory patterns, range-of-motion restrictions, and asymmetries before any loading is introduced. The screen report is shared and discussed with the client in full.
Endurance Coaching
Structured aerobic and anaerobic conditioning blocks for athletes preparing for events or individuals seeking measurable improvement in sustained work capacity. Includes pace-zone training and recovery-to-work ratio management.
Flexibility & Mobility Training
Targeted flexibility and joint-mobility sessions addressing restrictions identified at screening. Can be run as standalone sessions or integrated into a wider programme as a defined warm-up and cool-down framework.
Lifestyle Coaching Support
A broader coaching framework that integrates nutrition guidance, active recovery scheduling, sleep quality review, and stress-load awareness alongside the physical training plan. Built for clients whose progress is influenced by factors outside the studio.
How to begin a coaching engagement at Taleni
Contact the Studio
Send a message via the contact form or call the studio directly. Briefly describe your current activity level and the kind of work you are looking to do. A response is provided within one working day.
Initial Assessment Session
The first session is a dedicated movement screen and intake conversation. No loading takes place. The session produces a written report and the basis for a first programme block, shared within three working days.
Programme Commencement
The first working session begins with the written programme in hand. From this point, each session is logged, each block ends with a formal review, and the following cycle is built on what the completed one reveals.
Programmes are available for sport-specific conditioning goals
Athletes preparing for competition or seeking to build a particular physical quality—speed, power output, sustained endurance, or lateral agility—can work with Taleni to design a periodised conditioning block that sits alongside, or in structured preparation for, their primary sport's training demands.
